Up for sale is a fully restored and built out safari style, 1984 Porsche 911 "Dakar". Full glass out respray in Voodoo blue complemented with orange side stripes with Dakar script. The 3.4L engine was built by the late, great Dave White to include larger bore cylinders and pistons, pauter rods, reworked heads for more flow, and larger, lumpier cams. The engine revs quicker than any air cooled 911 that I've experienced. Since we have had the car the engine and transmission was removed from the car and thoroughly gone through. All of the parts that were factory zinc plated have been removed and replated, the engine tins were powder coated, the intake was sandblasted, the timing covers were resealed along with the valve covers. A new clutch, throwout bearing and pressure plate were installed along with all new oil lines, injectors, fuel lines, intake boot and manifold boots. New crank sensor, speed reference sensor, cylinder head temp sensor, and oil level sensor. The Fuel tank, bosch pump and check valve, and new Mahle filter were installed. The suspension was fully refreshed with Bilstein dampers, dropped front spindles, with new control arms and new bushings all around front and rear, elephant racing rear shock spacers. All new hardware in the steering rack including spherical bearing tie rods and new boots. New rear axles were installed with all new bolts and gaskets. New Torsion bar bushings and caps were installed in the rear suspension along with new spring plates. All brake calipers were rebuilt with new brake fluid reservoir with new cap and hoses. New Sebro cross drilled rotors were installed front and rear with Textar pads and sensors. New brake pad mounting hardware kits along with new parking brake shoes. All bearings were repacked and hardware was replaced. Fresh SCX 75w-90 in the transmission and SCX 20w-50 in the engine along with new oil sending unit and gasket. Complete chassis was undercoated in white. Rennline floorboards, pedals, 3 point strut brace, lower dash delete panel, and front skidplate were installed. New seat belts, buckles, Corbeau Seats with The Shining carpet inserts, applied business dark blue carpets, customer Alcantara dash with orange stitching, Wevo 915 shifter, 4 point rollbar powder coated white, new window switches in the new rsr door panels with orange pull straps, mirror glass, and Momo Monte Carlo Steering wheel. Custom made mud flaps with Dakar 911 logo. Modified front runner roof rack with mounted spare. 16" Fuch style wheels powder coated white with BFG K02 All Terrains. TRE motorsports ducktail and light pod with Hella lights. The car has been driven 200 miles since the build. This was a high dollar build and it is ready for a new owner who is ready to be the life of anywhere they take the car.
