Land Cruiser
1976 Toyota FJ40 that has undergone a nut and bolt/body off restoration and done right here in the USA by a renowned Land Cruiser shop. The truck was a 58k mile original vehicle before the comprehensive restoration. The whole frame and body was torn down and fully powder coated before the body was painted in basecoat/clearcoat Olive Green. The old tub sides were removed and new 3/16" steel was sculpted to mimic the original sheet metal but with much more girth. Metal Tech Sliders and Rear Dual Swing Out Bumper was added along with the front ARB equipped with venerable Warn 8274. The interior is all new (retains original instrument cluster) with a full Metal Tech Cage. A Gen 5 Vintage Air system was installed for modern heat and A/C. The drivetrain consists of the original 2F engine paired to a H41 4-speed manual transmission backed up by a 2.31 Transfer Case into a 3.41 Advance Adapters Rockbox and 4.56 diff gears for a crawl ratio of 181.86:1. OME Spring Over lift with anti-wrap bar, upgraded Saginaw steering box with heavy duty steering arms, and Bilstein shocks. Front and rear ARB lockers with Longfield chromoly axles and 37" Maxxis tires. There are so many well-done touches on this truck and the underside is as clean as the top side.
